AL BOLEA MEMORIAL BIKE RIDE

In 2006 Al Bolea passed away from myelofibrosis. As Al was an avid cycliest, each year since his friends and family have gathered to celebrade his life and raise money for MPN research by hosting a charity bicycle ride. The ride takes place near Boston and includes an after party with BBQ and a raffle. In 2009 over 150 cyclists participated, topping previous years’ participation.

The MPN Research Foundation greatly appreciateds the effort and dedication this group has exhibited over the years. Every contribution brings us closer to finding the answers MPN patients and their families want to know.
