Memorial: Norma Jean Tyrrell

Norma Jean Tyrrell passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2014 after a 14 year battle with Essential Thrombocythemia.

Born on August 30 1941 in Norwood, Missouri, Norma attended a small country school and later graduated from Norwood High School where she excelled in mathematics. In 1969, her family moved to Council Bluffs where her career included South Omaha Trucks, The Center, Jennie Edmundson Hospital and, for many years, at Darrah and Company. Norma also also had her own freelance accounting business.

She will be missed by her children and their spouses, Jerry Ray Tyrrell (Andy Nelson), Charlotte Sue Harm (Bill), who live in Omaha, Deborah Jean St. Clair (Patrick) in Locust Grove Georgia and Susan Elaine Jones in Council Bluffs. Norma had 5 grandchildren, 1 niece and 4 nephews.
