Global Reach

Although based in Chicago, Illinois, the MPN Research Foundation garners support from all corners of the globe. For example, of the eight current academic research grants that the MPN Research Foundation monitored in 2010, principal investigators were located not only throughout the United States but also in Vienna, Austria and Paris, France.

The Foundation also links patients with support groups all over the United States and places as far reaching as Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

We are proud of this ability to promote collaboration in the community across the globe in pursuit of new treatments -- and eventually a cure -- for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), particularly polycythemia vera, primary myelofibrosis and essential thrombocythemia.
