CORONA VIRUS AND INTERFERON

The MPN Research Foundation has been made aware that there is discussions about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and Interferon. Some papers published years ago have been shared in some of the online myeloproliferative neoplasms communities, out of the context of this current outbreak. We urge patients to follow their doctors’ orders regarding their use of any form of Interferon and consult your medical provider if you have any questions about how to stay safe. For reference, here is the WHO guidance on the current outbreak.
