There are several events taking place this November aimed at educating people with PV, ET, and MF:

November 2, 2013, Pompano Beach, FL NORD Regional MPN Patient Meeting.  NORD (National Organization for Rare Diseases) is hosting their first Regional Patient Meeting focused on MPNs. This free one-day meeting will cover physician overviews of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocythemia (ET), and primary myelofibrosis (PMF). November 6, 2013, New York, NY 7th International Symposium on Myeloproliferative Diseases. Patients attending this symposium will learn the latest research developments and treatment practices from a panel of distinguished MPD researchers and physicians. November 23, 2013, Houston, TX Living Well With MPNs, a Free Townhall Meeting.  MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston--one of America's leading cancer research and treatment centers--will conduct a "town meeting" event, where you will hear the latest in treatment and research from three world-famous MPN experts: Drs. Srdan Verstovsek and Jorge Cortes from MD Anderson Cancer Center and Dr. Ruben A. Mesa from the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
